Personal Training in Hammersmith - Bianca Sainty Personal Training

We had a month off the award in January, to allow everyone to get back on it after Christmas, and so it is with great pleasure that I can now announce our latest Member of the Month: PAUL HUXLEY

Paul has been training with us twice a week for 18 months now. At 78, he is fit, agile, super switched on and dedicated to his training - working hard and striving for the best form, always. He does everything all of our younger clients do - boxing, step ups, kettlebells, squats, sand bells, lunges, hand stands...(well maybe not that last one!).  

To slightly misquote Shakespeare: "Age cannot wither him...", and it is an understatement to say that Paul is sprightly. Check out these press-ups!! Talk about putting us all to shame...(and he can do 10 of these with perfect form!)

Paul says:
"I joined a gym but it only lasted a couple of months. I suppose I don't have the will power or discipline. Bianca's done all that for me, she rings the doorbell two mornings a week and there are no excuses. I've tried others and she is the most brilliant trainer I've ever had. I now feel much fitter and I actually look forward to our sessions, they're exhilarating, challenging but lots of fun too." 

We say: Bravo Paul, you are a total inspiration and role model for us all! I hope I am as active and strong as you are when I reach 78.

BODY BLITZES are 35 minutes of high intensity, no nonsense training, and run on Wednesdays @ 10.20am and Saturdays @ 9.15am. You must be able to use your free Blitz by 12th March.

Lots of you are busy bending zee knees in Europe... meanwhile training continues for the few of us left in W6! 

For me that means an early morning swim in Hampton...

...or indeed joining in with Circuits under new trainer Aneta, who is quickly getting her hand in with both Circuits and Small Group training. You should have met Aneta by now, if not you will very soon, as she joins Vanda and myself full-time on the training team. 

If you're wondering what makes a great post-workout snack, then take a look at these yummy Raw Protein Flapjacks. The recipe is from local Mum and chef Maxine Wellington, who runs the start-up catering business Maxine Cooks.

Maxine says: "I produce lunchtime meals for offices, homes, anyone really. I specialise in vegetarian and 'free from' foods. Try out my recipes, I would love to get your feedback."
