    Doing our bit for Sport Relief

    We are organising a mass boogie at the Basketball Courts, Ravenscourt Park, this Wednesday 21st March between 12.15-12.45pm.
    We are raising money for Sport Relief.
    So come on down in your lunch hour and have a boogie - our fab instructor Ruth has got a dance routine ready for us all to learn together! Should be loads of fun and it's for a good cause. Bring all your friends and some ££ to donate. See you there in your leg warmers!

    Shwmae! I'm in Wales this week for Half Term, in a beautiful valley north of Carmarthen. We've had sun, rain, hail and snowso far, so it's nothing if not exciting! I deliberately didn't pack my trainers, as I was looking forward to a week of rest. Whilst it's fantastic to keep upa regular exercise programme, it's all too easy to forget about the benefits of REST. That downtime thatyour body needs to recuperate, repair and come back stronger. Whilst not planning any 'formal' exercise, when I think about itI realise that we've been doing plenty of it just exploring the local area.     CHALLENGE - IT'S HOW WE GROW
    Yesterday London hosted one of the greatest physical challenges us humans put ourselves through (other than childbirth?)- the MARATHON. I was fortunate enough to run London in 2011, and really it was a turning point for me.After suffering Post-Natal Depression, I gradually ran myself back into better mental health over4 months of training 4 times a week. It was tough.I wrote this motto to keep me going. I will never forget theexceptionalexperience of race day. Irealised that from then on, exercise HADto be an intrinsic part of my life.
